Andorra is a stunning destination for cyclists, offering some of the most breathtaking and challenging cycling routes in Europe. Known as a favourite training place and home for professional cyclists, the country boasts quiet roads and high mountain views, making it the perfect playground for those who love climbing. Andorra's cycling culture is also something to be admired, with many bike-friendly hotels and restaurants catering specifically to the needs of cyclists. Whether you are a seasoned pro or a leisurely rider, Andorra offers something for everyone.
 
There are countless routes to choose from in Andorra, each offering a unique and exhilarating experience. Some of the most popular routes include the Collada de Beixalis, which offers a 12.5-kilometer climb with an average gradient of 7.5%, and the Els Cortals d'Encamp, a 9.5-kilometer climb with an average gradient of 8%. These routes are challenging and rewarding, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. For those looking for something a bit less daunting, there are also plenty of easier routes available, such as the picturesque ride through the Valira d'Orient valley.

Sample Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Andorra    

Arrive in Andorra. A private transfer can be booked to take you directly to your hotel. Airport transfers can be arranged with a trailer for bike boxes.

Once at your hotel, you will have available time to set up your bikes, or if renting a bike, a representative will meet you with the bikes at the reception area and help set these up correctly.

An evening meal can be booked at the hotel. Alternatively, we can advise on restaurants in town.                            

Day 2: Ride 1 - Col d’Ordino & Collada de Baixalis 

45 km, 1500 metres elevation             

Day 3: Ride 2 - Rabassa loop from Andorra La Vella

48 km, 1300 metres elevation        

 

Day 4: Ride 3 - Coma d’Arcalis & Vall Nord via Arinsal

56 km, 1500 metres elevation

 

Day 5: Depart for the UK   

Today you will be taken back by private transfer back to the airport for your return journey. Remember all our tours are bespoke and tailor made and we can alter any itinerary to suit you.

Add high spec bike hire to your cycling trip 

We have a range of incredible hire bikes to choose from which can be delivered to your chosen hotel. Our local team will help set your bikes up so all you have to do is enjoy your holiday. 

We advise bringing your own pedals and helmet but all extras are available to hire. 

All our bike hires include, a puncture repair kit, bottle and pump.
