Itinerary
The Brecon Beacons offers a welcoming and beautiful place to base your business trip
If this route are a bit too long, or even not hard enough, then get in touch with the Bikecation team and we will custom build an itinerary for you.
Day 1:
Arrive in the Brecon Beacons. A meet and greet with the Bikecation team will take place before your evening meal arranged at the hotel.
Day 2:
After breakfast, the Bikecation team will talk you through today’s route before helping prepare your bikes and set you up on any hire bikes.
Departing the hotel, you will ride towards Crickhowell and then in the direction of the market town of Abergavenny before you are straight into the action, taking on the famed Tumble. Down the other side and past the Big Pit Coal Museum, you will ride through Brynmawr and Beaufort back to the River Ure before following the river until reaching the town of Brecon where you will stop for a coffee and some well-earned cake. The next part of the journey will see you head towards Hay-on-Wye, famous around the World for its annual book festival. From Hay, you will now take on the iconic Gospel Pass, the highest road in Wales. Dropping down the descent, you will head back towards the hotel via Crickhowell.
The hotel will being putting on afternoon tea whilst you have showers and pack your bikes up before the journey home.
